Ingredients
- Rhubarb 0 lbs
- Water 5 qt
- Gingerbread-flavored syrup 15 fl oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the rhubarb stalks into pieces, place them in a pot, cover with water, and boil until soft. Strain.
Step 2
Pour the sugar syrup into the broth, add the yeast, and stir.
Step 3
Cover with a cloth and let the broth steep for a day. Strain again, pour into bottles, and seal.
Step 4
The kvass will be ready in 2-3 days. Store in a cool place.
