Ingredients
- Red Grape Juice 0 qt
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Donut Peaches 2 pieces
- Sugar 5 cups
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Ground clove 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the oranges, place the peels in a pot, sprinkle with sugar, and let sit for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2
Add 0.5 cups of water, cinnamon, and cloves. Pour in the wine and place on low heat.
Step 3
Heat until the sugar dissolves, but do not bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
Step 4
Dissolve 1 tablespoon of honey in the wine.
Step 5
Blanch the lemons in boiling water, then slice into thin rounds and place in a glass pitcher.
Step 6
Repeat the same with the oranges. Add the sliced peaches (pitted) to the pitcher.
Step 7
Using a long spoon or slotted spoon, remove the orange peels from the pot. Pour the warm spiced wine into the pitcher.
Step 8
Place the wine in the refrigerator, covering the pitcher with plastic wrap. Serve chilled with ice cubes.
