Quick Tuna Burgers with Lettuce and Tomato
Ingredients
- Canned tuna in its own juice 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs ¼ cup
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Canned Jalapeño Peppers 2 tablespoons
- Celery stalk 2 tablespoons
- Onion 0 oz
- Spices ¼ teaspoon
- Olive Oil 1½ teaspoons
- Whole Grain Bun 2 pieces
- Banana Leaves 2 pieces
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mash the tuna and add the breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped pimento peppers, celery, onion, and a bit of spices. Mix well.
Step 2
In another bowl, combine the remaining mayonnaise, remaining chopped peppers, and spices.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a pan. Form 2 flat patties from the tuna mixture and fry for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 4
Slice the buns in half and spread with the mayonnaise sauce. Then layer the burgers, a lettuce leaf, and a slice of tomato.
