- Puff Pastry 1 piece
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Onion 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Roll out the pastry (one half), not too thin.
Step 2
Slice the onion into half rings, cut the ham into medium-thick strips, and grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Make cuts along the edges of the pastry (creating strips), place the onion in the center of the pastry, then add the ham and cheese, and then cross the 'strips' over each other. It is not necessary to literally weave them; just crossing them is enough. Seal the pastry on the sides to prevent the juices from leaking out. Bake for no more than 25 minutes.
