Pasta Salad with Tuna
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- Olives stuffed with lemon 6 pieces
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Canned Mackerel in Oil 5 oz
- Mayonnaise 15 oz
- Pasta (corkscrew) 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the pasta into a large pot of salted water, bring to a boil, and cook uncovered. When the water comes to a boil again, reduce the heat so that the water continues to boil and cook for another 10-12 minutes. Drain through a large colander and rinse under cold water. Allow to cool.
Step 2
In the meantime, hard boil the egg and chop it finely. Drain the oil from the tuna and flake it with a fork. Slice the tomatoes.
Step 3
Mix the pasta with half of the mayonnaise and the tuna, and transfer the salad to a serving dish. Arrange the tomato slices and olives around the edge. Drizzle with the remaining mayonnaise and sprinkle with the chopped egg. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
