Description

In the photo, the Olivier salad is plated individually using a special round mold, where the ingredients are layered alternately with light layers of mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 6 pieces
  • Shrimp 20 oz
  • Turnips 6 pieces
  • Chocolate eggs 5 pieces
  • Gherkins 15 pieces
  • Cucumbers 2 pieces
  • Mayonnaise 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pour boiling water over the shrimp, transfer to a colander, and let the water drain (the option with boiled chicken is also available, so it depends on personal preference).

Step 2

Boil the potatoes and carrots. Let them cool.

Step 3

Boil the eggs. Let them cool.

Step 4

Cut the last 3 ingredients into small, even cubes.

Step 5

Open a can of green peas.

Step 6

Dice the apple (peeled!), cucumber, and pickles.

Step 7

Mix with mayonnaise. Add dill to taste, season with salt, and voila!

Step 8

Sprinkle with pepper on top and serve on individual plates.
