Octopus Salad
Ingredients
- Octopus 1 piece
- Malt Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Spanish onions 2 pieces
- Potato 1 piece
- Salad Potatoes 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the octopus and place it to boil in cold water for 30 minutes. Do not discard the water it was cooked in.
Step 2
Cut the boiled octopus into pieces, add a little salt, chopped onion and tomato, and thin slices of boiled potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil on top.
Step 3
In a separate pot, pour a little of the water (the one in which the octopus was cooked), add vinegar and seasonings to taste. Bring to a boil, add chopped garlic and pepper. Pour the resulting marinade over the octopus, mix well, and chill.
