Description

Mulled beer made with dark malt is quite simple (as are many hot winter drinks). Typically, mulled wine is made with wine, but here it is replaced with dark beer. The spices are traditional: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, honey, and lemon zest. All of this reveals a new flavor profile for the beer. The recipe for this drink is versatile: you can create your own variations without changing the preparation method, simply by adjusting the ingredients—adding new ones or substituting some for those you prefer.
