Description
The Buck, or Mule, is a distinct category of classic cocktails that includes strong alcohol along with ginger beer (or ale) and citrus juice. Another name for this cocktail is Vodka Buck. Traditionally, a Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug, but this rule is increasingly being overlooked nowadays.
Ingredients
- Vodka 0 fl oz
- Gingerbread-flavored syrup 0 fl oz
- Ginger Green Wine 0 fl oz
- Angostura 0 fl oz
- Lime ½ pieces
- Ginger 0 oz
- Mint 3 stalks
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the ginger into thin pieces.
Step 2
Fill a shaker with crushed ice, add vodka, Angostura bitters, the juice of half a lime, and sugar syrup, then add ginger. Shake lightly, top up with ginger ale, and shake again. Insert a sprig of mint into the shaker, add more ice to create a mound. Dust with powdered sugar on top and serve.
