It resembles the classic 'Mimosa' salad, but instead of canned fish, it uses salted salmon. Instead of semi-hard cheese, mozzarella is used, adding a touch of tenderness to the dish. Recipe from a local diner.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 10 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Lightly Salted Red Fish 5 oz
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 5 pieces
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Scallions 0 oz
- Quail Egg 5 pieces
- Salt 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater, season with salt, and place them in a serving ring. Spread mayonnaise on top.
Step 2
Grate the carrot, season it with salt, and layer it on top of the potatoes in a ring. Spread mayonnaise over it.
Step 3
Place the diced fish into a ring mold, then add the finely grated boiled egg. If desired, spread mayonnaise on top.
Step 4
Sprinkle with grated cheese, and garnish with green onion tops and a quail egg yolk.
