Mimosa Salad with Processed Cheese

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
  • Turnips 2 pieces
  • Sliced Processed Cheese 2 pieces
  • Onion 1 head
  • Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
  • Canned cod liver 1 can
  • Herbs to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes and carrots, then grate them on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Boil the eggs hard, separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater and the yolks on a fine grater.

Step 3

Mash the canned fish with a fork. Finely chop the onion and blanch it. Mix together.

Step 4

Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 5

Layer the ingredients in a bowl, spreading each layer with a small amount of mayonnaise, in the following order: potatoes, canned fish mixed with onion, processed cheese, egg whites, carrots, egg yolks.

Step 6

Refrigerate for 2–3 hours. Before serving, garnish with herbs.

Step 7

Serve in slices, cutting with a special spatula like a cake, so that each piece contains all the layers.
