Mimosa Cocktail
Beverages • British
Description
The cocktail was created by a bartender at a popular American restaurant in 1921. The Mimosa is one of the official cocktails of the International Bartenders Association, which attests to its popularity among the public and its recognition in the professional world. The cocktail is traditionally served at brunches and weddings to guests. Any dry white sparkling wine or champagne is suitable for this recipe. It is served in a special champagne glass called a flute. When filling the glass, leave enough space — when you add the ice cream, the cocktail will foam up significantly. You can use any light fruit liqueur and opt for peach or grapefruit juice.
