Meat Salad with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 4 pieces
- Lean Beef 30 oz
- Tomatoes 6 pieces
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Onion 4 pieces
- Gherkins 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Lemon 1 piece
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into strips (approximately 1.5 x 10 cm), cook in a skillet until done, adding salt to taste. Five minutes before it's done, squeeze half a lemon into the meat and add the chopped garlic.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, pour the juice of half a lemon over them, and set aside to soak.
Step 3
Cut the peppers into wedges (preferably use peppers of different colors), lightly sauté for about 3 minutes. Add to the meat.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into quarters, lightly sauté in the skillet for about 2–3 minutes. Add to the meat with the peppers.
Step 5
Cut the onion into quarters, lightly sauté in the skillet for 4 minutes. Add to the main dish.
Step 6
Slice the gherkins crosswise. Add to the salad.
Step 7
Next, add the carrots along with the juice and finely chopped parsley.
