Ingredients
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Cardamom 6 pieces
- Green peppercorns 6 pieces
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Clove 2 pieces
- Sugar 2 spoons
- Black tea 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine half a liter of water with milk and place it over heat in a deep saucepan. Add to the liquids lightly crushed cardamom seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting and simmer for fifteen minutes. After that, remove from heat, add a bag of black tea (preferably Assam) to the saucepan, and let it steep for a few minutes.
Step 2
Strain the tea through a sieve and serve while hot.
