Description
One of the predecessors of the modern Martini: in the 1880s, this cocktail was referred to as both 'Martini' and 'Turf Club.' In both variations, there was more sweet vermouth than gin, and our version is more contemporary.
Ingredients
- Gin 0 fl oz
- White Vermouth 0 fl oz
- Maraschino Liqueur 1 tablespoon
- Bitter 0 fl oz
- Marinated cherries 1 piece
- Citrus Zest Mix a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour gin, vermouth, liqueur, and bitters into a mixing glass filled with ice.
Step 3
Stir for twenty seconds and pour into a chilled serving glass.
Step 4
Garnish with zest and a cocktail cherry.
