Ingredients
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Basil 5 oz
- Melted Cheese 0 lbs
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Mixed salad greens 5 oz
- Buckwheat Groats 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix extra virgin olive oil with salt, honey, black ground pepper, and the juice of two lemons. Drizzle this mixture over the bottom of a deep flat dish and evenly sprinkle a pinch of fresh basil leaves across the bottom.
Step 2
Slice the mozzarella into thick pieces and place it in a bowl with the lemon-olive oil dressing. Drizzle the mozzarella with the same dressing and scatter basil leaves on top.
Step 3
Add another layer of mozzarella on top and repeat the process of layering the leaves and drizzling with the mixture of oil, honey, and lemon juice. Cover the bowl with a lid or seal it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for ten minutes. Serve by placing the cheese on a bed of mixed greens and drizzling with the sauce from the bowl.
