Ingredients
- Barberry Candies 5 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Lemon 1½ pieces
- Pink Mica Powder to taste
- Sparkling water 25 fl oz
- Ice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Wash the lemons.
Step 2
Place the 'Barbaris' candies in a small saucepan and pour in water.
Step 3
Use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest from the lemon and add it to the saucepan.
Step 4
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the same saucepan.
Step 5
Place a saucepan over heat, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook until the candies dissolve.
Step 6
Let the syrup cool slightly.
Step 7
Slice the remaining lemon into thin rings.
Step 8
Place lemon slices and ice in a large pitcher.
Step 9
Pour in the syrup, add the luster dust, and top up with sparkling water. Stir well.
Step 10
Serve on a hot sunny day.
