Liver Salad
Ingredients
- Veal Liver 20 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Leek 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Mandarins 4 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Malt Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Dry White Wine 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Corn Salad 5 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the liver from membranes, cut it into strips, and sauté in butter.
Step 2
Separately sauté chopped onion with garlic and chopped walnuts in vegetable oil.
Step 3
Separate the mandarins into segments and remove the membranes.
Step 4
For the dressing, mix honey, lemon juice, and vinegar with wine. Add sugar.
Step 5
Combine all ingredients and dress the salad. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Place the mixture on the salad leaves and garnish with rings of leek.
