Description
Before serving, it's advisable to ensure that the taste of the alcohol has mellowed. If not, let it sit for another 2-3 days.
Ingredients
- Drinking Alcohol 0 qt
- Lemon 9 pieces
- Sugar 10 oz
- Water 6 glasses
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the lemons. Carefully peel off the zest (the yellow part) and place it in an airtight jar.
Step 2
Pour the zest with alcohol, seal it, and let it steep for 5 to 10 days. Shake it every day.
Step 3
After 5–10 days, prepare the sugar syrup. Let it cool.
Step 4
Strain the lemon infusion and add it to the syrup. Squeeze out the zest.
Step 5
After mixing well, pour the resulting mixture into bottles. Let it steep in a dark place for another 10 to 14 days.
Step 6
Served cold in frozen liqueur glasses.
