Description

Since lemons are the base of the future liqueur, they should be carefully selected. It is better to choose fragrant, thin-skinned, ripe, and yellow lemons; and the lemons should be of the same size.

Ingredients

  • Lemon 3 pieces
  • Sugar 25 oz
  • Water 25 fl oz
  • Drinking Alcohol 25 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Take the lemons, wash them thoroughly, and dry them, then use a knife to remove the zest.

Step 2

Now cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice.

Step 3

Next, take a pre-prepared glass jar and pour the alcohol, juice, and add the zest into it.

Step 4

Leave to infuse for thirty days in a dark, cool place.

Step 5

After thirty days, strain the infusion through a clean cloth and prepare the syrup from water and sugar.

Step 6

Let the syrup cool.

Step 7

Now combine the syrup and infusion, and you will see how the color changes. Pour into bottles and let it infuse for another thirty days.

Step 8

Before serving, it is recommended to chill the liqueur well.
