Description
A traditional Belgian salad: hearty and simple — either you don't like it, or it's love at first sight and forever!
Ingredients
- New Potatoes 0 lbs
- Chinese green beans 10 oz
- Apple 2 pieces
- Cooked Ham 5 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the young potatoes into large pieces.
Step 2
Add the potatoes to the boiling water.
Step 3
7 minutes before the potatoes are done, place a colander or another suitable container in the pot, add the beans to it, and cover. The beans will steam from the potatoes.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion.
Step 5
Chop the ham into large pieces.
Step 6
Also, chop the apples.
Step 7
In a skillet, sauté the onion with the ham.
Step 8
Then add the apples, pour in the vinegars, and cook the apples over medium heat, stirring constantly until they are soft.
Step 9
Combine the potatoes, beans, apples with bacon and onions.
Step 10
Drizzle with olive oil and serve.
