Description

You can make the salad even tastier by preparing homemade mayonnaise instead of using store-bought and spreading it between each layer.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Carrot 2 pieces
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Sweet Red Onion 1 head
  • Champagne Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the eggs hard, separating the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater and the yolks on a fine grater.

Step 2

Marinate the sliced onion rings the night before. For this, you will need 1 large onion, sugar, salt, vinegar, water, and black pepper.

Step 3

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater as well and lightly fry them in vegetable oil. Finely chop the garlic. Optionally, you can add walnuts.

Step 4

Layer all the components in a shallow salad bowl. The order of ingredients should be as follows: egg whites, cheese, pickled onions with walnuts, carrots with garlic, egg whites, and yolks. Spread mayonnaise between the layers. Garnish the top of the salad with greens and olives.
