Layered Fish and Mushroom Salad
Ingredients
- White fish 0 lbs
- Fresh Mushrooms 20 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Scallions 1 bunch
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the fish and separate it from the bones, flaking it into pieces.
Step 2
Slice the mushrooms and sauté them in a small amount of vegetable oil (or boil them).
Step 3
Slice the onion into half-rings and sauté in a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 4
Finely chop the green onion.
Step 5
Mix both types of onion, reserving a small amount of green onion for garnish.
Step 6
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 7
Layer in a salad bowl, spreading mayonnaise between layers, in the following order: fish, onion mixture, mushrooms, cheese.
Step 8
Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
