Layered Cod Salad
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles 5 oz
- Cod 5 oz
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the fish and boil it in salted water. Let it cool and break it into small pieces.
Step 2
Rinse the mushrooms and chop them into small pieces.
Step 3
Peel the raw carrot and grate it using a medium grater.
Step 4
Pour boiling water over the onion and chop it. Sauté the onion with the carrot in vegetable oil. Sauté the mushrooms separately.
Step 5
Hard-boil the eggs and cut them into cubes.
Step 6
Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 7
Layer the ingredients: carrot with onion, boiled cod, mayonnaise, egg, cheese, mushrooms, mayonnaise, cheese.
Step 8
Place the finished salad in the refrigerator for one hour to let it soak.
