
Lavender Lemonade

Description
Lavender has a rather cool aroma, making the idea of adding it to a refreshing lemonade bound to succeed. However, simply tossing a sprig or two into a pitcher won't be enough. To achieve a concentrated lavender flavor in your glass, you first need to make a syrup by boiling the buds in water with sugar. After that, it's a simple matter of diluting our concentrate with lemon juice and water to taste.
Ingredients
- Water 40 fl oz
- Lemon 5 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Lavender flowers ¼ glasses
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
In a pot, bring 300 ml of water to a boil and then immediately remove from heat.
Step 3
Add the lavender buds to the water and let them steep for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add sugar to the pot.
Step 5
Stir the sugar until completely dissolved.
Step 6
Juice the lemons.
Step 7
Strain the lemonade through a sieve.
Step 8
Add lemon juice to the strained lemonade.
Step 9
Pour in the remaining water.
Step 10
Serve on a hot day with a couple of ice cubes.
