Jicama and Colorful Pepper Salad

Ingredients

  • Jicama 25 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers ½ piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers ½ piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers ½ piece
  • English cucumber ½ piece
  • Spanish onions ½ head
  • Orange zest 1 piece
  • Cilantro ½ stem
  • Cayenne Pepper a pinch
  • Lime Juice 5 fl oz
  • Paprika a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the jicama and cut it into thin strips or cubes, then transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

Cut the peppers and cucumber into small cubes as well.

Step 3

Finely chop the red onion.

Step 4

Peel the orange and cut it into small pieces.

Step 5

Mix everything in the bowl and drizzle with lime juice and olive oil. Season with salt and sprinkle with cayenne pepper and paprika. Mix well and let sit for half an hour before serving.
