Italian Salad with Chicken, Ham, and Vegetables

Ingredients

  • Ham 5 oz
  • Cheese Spread to taste
  • Skin-On Chicken Breasts 5 oz
  • Pomegranate Seeds 4 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Bay leaf to taste
  • Salt a pinch
  • Carrot ½ piece
  • Courgette 1 piece
  • Herbs to taste
  • Herbes de Provence a pinch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the chicken breast for 30 minutes. While boiling, add salt, bay leaf, and dried herbs. They will give a special flavor and aroma. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool (do not take the breast out of the broth, otherwise it will dry out). Then cut it into small pieces.

Step 2

Peel the fresh carrot and grate it on a fine grater.

Step 3

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Step 4

Cut the ham and cucumber into strips.

Step 5

Remove the seeds from the pomegranate.

Step 6

Finely chop the dill and parsley. Leave a few sprigs for garnish.

Step 7

Mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl, except for the pomegranate seeds. Place in the refrigerator to let it soak in the mayonnaise and cool slightly. Before serving, garnish the salad with sprigs of herbs and pomegranate seeds.
