Ingredients
- 3.2% Milk 1½ cups
- 10% cream 1½ cups
- Chocolate 53% 5 oz
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Fresh Mint 0 oz
- Whipped Cream to taste
- Red and White Mint Candy to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the milk, cream, sugar, and mint leaves in a saucepan and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Then strain the milk through a sieve to remove the wilted mint leaves. Add the chocolate, broken into pieces, to the milk mixture, return to medium heat, and warm while stirring until the chocolate is completely melted.
Step 3
Remove from heat and whisk vigorously until frothy.
Step 4
Pour into cups and, if desired, top with whipped cream and crushed mint candy.
