Homemade hamburgers with pickles

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Lean Beef 20 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Hamburger Bun 7 pieces
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Chinese green beans 1 bunch
  • Spices to taste
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Ketchup to taste
  • Cornichons 1 jar
  • Sliced Processed Cheese 7 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the ground beef in a large bowl, add the two chicken eggs, salt, pepper, spices to taste, and mix. Add flour to ensure the patties are not crumbly and hold together.

Step 2

Heat a frying pan with sunflower oil, wet your hands with water, form patties (I get 7 good patties from the entire mixture) and fry them for about 5 minutes on each side.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 390°F and place the patties in the oven for 20–25 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.

Step 4

While the patties are baking, take the Chinese cabbage and slice the leaves into strips, slice the tomatoes into thin rounds, and cut the cornichons into strips.

Step 5

Remove the patties from the oven and let them cool slightly to avoid burning yourself. Then cut each patty in half, resulting in 14 small patties, enough for 14 hamburgers or 7 Big Macs.

Step 6

Slice the bun in half, and don't forget to warm it up; you can do this in a toaster for a slightly crispy texture.

Step 7

Assemble the hamburger in layers: bottom half of the bun — a bit of ketchup — patty — slice of cheese — slice of tomato — a few strips of cornichon — a bit of mayonnaise — a handful of cabbage, and top with the other half of the bun.
