  • Beetroot 5 oz
  • Carrot 5 oz
  • Onion 0 oz
  • Herring 5 oz
  • Mayonnaise 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes, beetroots, and carrots separately, then cool.

Step 2

Prepare the herring fillets, cutting some diagonally into small pieces, and place half on a deep dish or plate.

Step 3

Slice each type of vegetable (potato, carrot, and beetroot), as well as the onion, into thin slices or small cubes, and layer them over the pieces of herring.

Step 4

Repeat the process once more.

Step 5

Drizzle with mayonnaise and let sit for 1-2 hours to allow the salad to soak in the mayonnaise.
