Hamburgers with Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • Lean Beef 30 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
  • Butter 4 teaspoons
  • Sesame bun 4 pieces
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Pork fat 5 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Mild Chili Spice 1 cup
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Tomatoes 1 can
  • Beef Kidneys 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the chili sauce. In a pot over medium heat, melt the chopped pork fat. Sauté the finely chopped onion until translucent. Then add 600 g of ground beef and cook, breaking up large clumps. Add the minced garlic, ground chili, paprika, sugar, and salt. Stir and add the crushed canned tomatoes and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring until thickened. Add the beans and keep on low heat.

Step 2

Form 4 patties from the remaining 500 g of ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Fry the patties in a skillet, sprinkling each with grated cheese, and leave on the heat until the cheese melts, then remove the skillet from heat.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Slice the buns in half, butter the cut sides, and toast until golden brown.

Step 4

Place the patties on the bottom halves of the buns, then pour on the chili sauce. Sprinkle with finely chopped white onion, and place the top half of the bun next to it. Enjoy your meal!
