Ham, Tomato, Green Pepper, and Egg Salad
Ingredients
- Garlic 2 cloves
- French Baguette 1 piece
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Champagne Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Olive Oil ¼ cup
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Serrano Chili 0 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the piece of bread in 60 ml of water for 1 minute, then squeeze out the bread.
Step 2
Boil the eggs in boiling water until hard. Cool them under cold water, peel, and separate the whites from the yolks.
Step 3
Mash the garlic in a mortar with a little salt, add the yolks, bread, and vinegar. Mix until smooth. Add olive oil to achieve a thick sauce consistency. Season with pepper.
Step 4
Finely chop the egg whites.
Step 5
Spread the sauce on plates. Sprinkle with egg whites, then layer with finely chopped tomatoes, season with salt, and top with finely chopped green pepper and finely chopped ham.
