Grilled turkey burgers with honey-mustard sauce
Ingredients
- Mustard Greens ¼ cup
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Turkey 20 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Whole Grain Bun 4 pieces
- Banana Leaves 4 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 teaspoons
- Potato ½ piece
- Spanish onions ¼ head
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the mustard and honey.
Step 3
In another bowl, combine the ground turkey and 3 tablespoons of honey-mustard sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and shape into 4 flat burgers.
Step 4
Brush the patties on both sides with vegetable oil and place them on the grill. Cook for 5–7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.
Step 5
Meanwhile, thinly slice the tomato and onion.
Step 6
Slice each bun in half and spread sauce on the bottom halves. Top with lettuce leaves, burgers, tomato slices, and red onion. Cover with the top halves and serve immediately.
