  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Fresh basil leaves ½ cup
  • Vinegar essence 5 tablespoons

Step 1

Preheat the grill.

Step 2

Place the peppers on the grill and cook for a few minutes, turning them until the skin starts to char. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for 15 minutes. Peel the peppers and remove the skin. Cut into thin strips.

Step 3

In a microwave-safe container, place the thinly sliced onion and add sugar, salt, and enough water to completely cover the onion. Microwave for 2 minutes. Drain.

Step 4

On a plate, arrange the peppers, finely chopped tomatoes, and finely chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar.
