Step 1
Preheat the grill or barbecue.

Slice the cheese into 8 thin pieces. Thinly slice the apple. On a work surface, place 4 slices of bread, and on each slice, add a piece of cheese, followed by a layer of apple, then another layer of cheese, and top with the remaining slices of bread. Drizzle olive oil on both sides and place on the grill.
Step 3
Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping once, until the sandwiches are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Transfer to a cutting board and slice in half.
