Green tea with ginger and cinnamon
Ingredients
- Water 0 qt
- Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Green Tea (brick) 2 teaspoons
- Honey to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the ginger root.
Step 2
Place the green tea (I used milk oolong), cinnamon, and grated ginger in a heatproof glass pitcher.
Step 3
Boil 1 liter of water and pour it into the pitcher. Stir. Cover with a lid and let steep for 20-25 minutes.
Step 4
Strain the resulting tea through a sieve (I pour it into a teapot with a built-in strainer), and discard the spice pulp.
Step 5
Pour into cups, add honey to taste (I add 1 teaspoon of honey per 200 ml cup).
Step 6
Serve warm.
