Description

It is recommended to use large-leaf tea without floral, fruity, or aromatic additives. A great alternative to a fresh apple is dried apple (regular drying for compote), the key is to use enough: the more ingredients, the more aromatic and flavorful the tea will be.

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon 1 piece
  • Green Tea (brick) 0 oz
  • Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
  • Apple 5 oz
  • Water 15 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the teapot with boiling water.

Step 2

Add 3-4 dessert spoons (depending on the variety) of loose green tea, grated ginger root, diced small apple, and a cinnamon stick to the teapot, then pour in soft hot water (about 195°F). Steep under the lid for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the beverage into hot tea cups.

Step 4

If desired, it is recommended to steep the tea again up to 4 times, until the ingredients release their aroma and flavor.
