  • Green String Beans 15 oz
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Onion 1 head
  • Canned Diced Tomatoes 5 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Basil 0 oz

Step 1

In a 30 cm skillet, heat the oil over medium heat, add the chopped onion, and sauté for about 5 minutes until it becomes soft.

Step 2

Then add the minced garlic and sauté for another half a minute.

Step 3

Add the beans, trimmed at the ends, and the tomatoes. Cover with a lid, reduce the heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes until the beans are tender.

Step 4

Then season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with chopped basil.
