Description

A recipe from John Smith, a chef at a popular American restaurant. This is the simplest potato salad recipe: just like the one served in beer gardens in Bavaria among endless snacks.

Ingredients

  • Potato 10 oz
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Mayonnaise 5 oz
  • Creamy Horseradish 0 oz
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Dill 3 sprigs
  • Parsley 3 sprigs
  • Scallions 4 stalks
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the potatoes with a brush and boil them in their skins until cooked through. Allow to cool and then peel.

Step 2

Cut the bacon into cubes and fry in a dry skillet until golden brown.

Step 3

Finely chop all the herbs together with the garlic.

Step 4

Mix the mayonnaise and sour cream. Add the creamy horseradish and all the herbs, and stir well.

Step 5

Slice the potatoes into rounds, add the bacon, and dress with the resulting sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with herbs.
