Frozen Ginger Lemonade
Ingredients
- Sugar 10 oz
- Water 30 fl oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Meyer Lemon Juice 15 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, bring 240 ml of water and sugar to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add the ginger pieces. Let it cool.
Step 2
Transfer the ginger pieces from the syrup to a blender and add the remaining 590 ml of water. Blend until finely chopped. Strain.
Step 3
Pour the ginger water into the syrup, add the lemon juice, and transfer to a container. Place in the freezer overnight.
Step 4
Use a fork to stir the lemonade until it reaches a slushy consistency and divide it into glasses. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately.
