Ingredients
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 10 oz
- French Baguette 4 pieces
- Arugula 10 oz
- Dried Chamomile 1 teaspoon
- Romaine lettuce 10 oz
- Tomatoes 4 pieces
- Chives 2 tablespoons
- Ranch Dressing 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat a skillet and fry the chopped bacon over medium heat until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix the diced baguette, 2 tablespoons of bacon fat, crushed thyme, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring once.
Step 4
In a large bowl, combine the lettuce leaves, diced tomatoes, bacon, croutons, arugula, finely chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Dress with the ranch dressing, toss, and serve.
