Fresh Tuna Salad with Celery, Basil, and Green Apple
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Pompano fillet 15 oz
- Celery stalk ½ piece
- Green Apples 5 oz
- Scallions 2 stalks
- Fresh basil leaves 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise 5 tablespoons
- Radicchio Salad to taste
- Country Bread 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cut the fish fillet into 2 pieces and place them in the skillet. Sear for 5 minutes until golden brown, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Break the tuna into small pieces and transfer to a large bowl. Gently mix with the chopped celery, diced apple, and finely chopped green onions. Season with salt to taste.
Step 3
Add mayonnaise and finely chopped basil.
Step 4
Place 1 leaf of radicchio on each plate and fill it with the salad. Serve with toasted country bread.
