Fresh Tuna Salad
Salads • European
Description
You can use any type of lettuce instead of iceberg, such as arugula, or a mix of different lettuces. A few drops of lemon juice can be sprinkled on top of the finished salad. Rye crispbread pairs well with the salad.
Ingredients
- Iceberg Lettuce 0 oz
- Marinated cherries 4 pieces
- Pitted olives 4 pieces
- Capers 1 teaspoon
- Spanish onions ¼ head
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Olive Oil ½ teaspoon
- Canned tuna in its own juice 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them on the lettuce leaves.
Step 3
Slice the olives into rings and add them to the salad along with the capers.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the tuna from the can to the salad, evenly distributing the fish with the other ingredients in the bowl.
