Ingredients
- Broccoli 1 head
- Pickled Apples 2 pieces
- Grapefruits 5 oz
- Sweet Red Onion ½ head
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Apple Cider Vinegar 5 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Maple syrup 2 tablespoons
- Ocean salt to taste
- Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, mix all the ingredients for the dressing: vinegar, oil, mustard, syrup, salt, and pepper.
Step 2
Whisk together. Mince the ginger or press it through a garlic press, add to the dressing, and mix well.
Step 3
Cut the broccoli into small florets, small enough to comfortably eat with the other ingredients.
Step 4
Thoroughly mix the broccoli with the dressing so that all the florets are coated.
Step 5
Finely chop the onion, either red or green.
Step 6
If the grapes are large and have seeds, cut them in half and remove the seeds.
Step 7
Core the apples and cut them into small wedges.
Step 8
Add the nuts and mix all the ingredients together.
