Fresh Basil Lemonade
Ingredients
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Lime 7 pieces
- Raw cane sugar 5 tablespoons
- Ice 9 pieces
- Coconut Milk 3 cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the basil leaves at the bottom of a pitcher. Sprinkle with sugar. Stir with a wooden spoon for a minute to release some juice from the basil.
Step 2
Cut the limes into quarters. Squeeze the juice into the pitcher with your fingers, and add the remaining pieces.
Step 3
Add the milk from three fresh coconuts to the pitcher. If you don't have them on hand, water will work.
Step 4
Add ice cubes or crushed ice to the pitcher.
Step 5
Place the lemonade in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
