  • Dried Chinese mushrooms 0 oz
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Chicken Broth ¼ cup
  • Chicken fillet 1 piece
  • Ciabatta 1 piece
  • Pickled garlic to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the water.

Step 2

Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes until soft, adding more water if necessary.

Step 3

Pour in the milk and cream, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3–5 minutes.

Step 4

Gradually add the broth to the sauce, stirring constantly. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens.

Step 5

Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

Preheat a grill pan and cook the chicken until done.

Step 7

Slice the focaccia in half, spread with butter, and sprinkle with garlic salt. Lightly toast on the grill.

Slice the chicken breast, place it on the bread, and drizzle with sauce. Serve immediately.
