Fermented Cabbage Salad with Spicy Spices and Basil
Ingredients
- Fermented cabbage 5 oz
- Green basil leaves 1 stem
- Garlic 2 pieces
- Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Oregano ½ teaspoon
- Pink Tomatoes 1 piece
- Five-pepper blend a pinch
- Ground chili pepper a pinch
- Sumac a pinch
- Sea Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the oil into a deep bowl and add the garlic, pressed.
Step 2
Add oregano.
Step 3
Then add sumac.
Step 4
Season with chili pepper.
Step 5
Add the pepper blend and mix well.
Step 6
Scoop out the flesh from the tomato. Add salt.
Step 7
Add the tomato contents and finely chopped basil leaves to the sauce.
Step 8
Thoroughly mix the sauce and add the fermented cabbage.
Step 9
Mix well.
Step 10
Garnish with basil and serve.
