Fennel and citrus salad with pine nuts
Ingredients
- Fennel 2 pieces
- Lemon 1 piece
- Orange zest 1 piece
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Toasted Sesame 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the fennel well and remove the old leaves. Cut it in half and remove the core, then thinly slice it with a sharp knife. Finely chop a small amount of fennel to reserve for the dressing. Transfer the sliced fennel to a bowl.
Step 2
In another bowl, mix the grated zest and juice of the orange and lemon. Add the finely chopped fennel and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and drizzle over the fennel. Add the pine nuts and mix again.
Step 3
Plate the salad and drizzle with the remaining dressing. Serve immediately.
