Daiquiri
Drinks • Cuban
Description
In Cuba, the cocktail is made with very finely ground white sugar — so when he found a similar one in our kitchen, Mark was thrilled (Mark Smith, a distant descendant of the founder of the alcoholic company he named after himself). Mixing it with lime juice, he tried what he had made — and laughing, he immediately poured it out: the white sugar turned out to be fine table salt.
