Description
A warm cocktail with an ice cream flavor is nothing short of an oxymoron that typically doesn’t exist in nature. This snow-white, thick, and creamy mix can easily serve as both a digestif and a dessert alternative: the sweetness and creaminess come from sweetened condensed milk and cream, while whiskey adds the kick. For the full sensation of crunchy snow, there’s a mound of white marshmallows on top of the cocktail. Recipe by Andrew Smith, bar manager of a popular American restaurant.
Ingredients
- Coffee Liqueur 5 fl oz
- Irish Whiskey 5 fl oz
- Condensed Milk 5 oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Marshmallow 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan, mix thoroughly, and heat over low heat without bringing to a boil.
Step 2
Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes.
Step 3
Pour the drink into an oven-safe glass and garnish with marshmallows.
